General Enrollment
Who is eligible to enroll?
- Eligibility is usually determined by the employer. Normally
employees working 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll for coverage.

- Some districts also allow school board members and early retirees to be
covered.
When does coverage begin?
- Coverage normally begins the first of the month following the date of hire for a new employee.
When does coverage end?
- Coverage normally ends the last day of the month you terminated in.
What dependents are eligible?
- An Employee's Dependents are defined (for the majority of the groups) as
follows:
- Legal spouse who is currently a permanent resident in the home of the
Employee.
- The unmarried children, including newborn children, step children,
adopted children, and Dependents for whom the court has decreed support to
the Employee.
- The limiting age for covered, unmarried children is December 31st of
the year in which age 19 is attained. However, this age limit does not
apply to a Dependent child who is a full-time student at an accredited
institution. In that case, the student will be covered until the
earlier of: The first of the month following the date on which the
student is no longer registered full-time, or December 31st of the year the
student attains the age of 25.
- How do I change my address, phone number or the dependents on my coverage?

- The easiest way to change your address is to go to
www.wyomingblue.com and register to
receive your password.

- Another way is to just report the change at work or call our toll-free number
at 1-800-640-4459.

- If you’re a retiree, all you need to do is contact Willis HRH at
1-800-640-4459. We will in turn pass this information along to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and the Wyoming Retirement System.

It is very important to report any change in your contract to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming within 30 days of an event such as the birth of a child, adoption or legal guardianship, marriage, divorce, death, name change, a new address or telephone number, Medicare eligibility or a new job.
How do I file a claim?
- If you go to a Participating Provider, they will file the claim for
you. If you need to file a claim, all you need to do is fill out a claim
form and submit it to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming. Click BCBSWY
to go to their web site, there you will find a claim form and instructions on
how to file a claim.
